At their peak, more than 60 eager volunteers descended on the Joy of Music School March 16 for an amazing clean-up day we won’t soon forget. The biggest group of helpers came from
the Regional Church of God and Christian School in Delbarton, W. Va., who heard about us on the “Secret Millionaire” TV show. They were in the area
and generously offered to give us a day of their time. Members of the Phi Mu Alpha fraternity at the University of Tennessee also came by, as did board members and other friends of the School. Among the things they did for us: painted walls; cleaned carpets, windows, blinds, our fridge, even our artificial plants; replaced ceiling tiles; assembled 250 folders for next year; vacuumed the upstairs space; tidied up our parking lot; spread mulch in all our flower beds; trimmed our hedges; and repaired our fence. We are so grateful. Thank you all SO much!
